A week after this year's Hoop Path IV retreat, I returned to Carrboro with my camera, hoping to delve a bit deeper into the luscious and profound hoop space there. The spaces, held lovingly by some of our most prolific hoop sisters and brothers, is filled with delights for any film maker. There are some beautiful mythologies in Carrboro, North Carolina. From the minute I pulled into town, I was swept up in the free-flowing circular energies of hoopers and lovers that continue to play in the shadows and the light of our collective hoop dream. Blessings and love to those interpersonal journeys and dreams that confuse us, comfort us, and inspire us to plunge deeper, into the depths of our own experience.
